Did you hear about the fundraising miracle that got me here?

I needed a large amount amount of funds- in just a few days of going to Georgia for launch and God provided more than I needed and because of that miracle, I am now here in month 2 of the world race and I am in Haiti!

The past 2 months God has called me to do many things!

Ministry has looked like:

:Manual labor:

Shoveling/digging dirt to help set the foundation for a home

Carrying dirt in buckets from one area of the ministry site to another

Mixing cement

Picking up sticks and clearing land for the cows area

Painting of the walls/buildings

Raking leaves and transferring them to a different area to be burned

Picking up trash and digging/clearing dirt and rocks away.

:Community Outreach/Children’s Ministry

Teaching English at a local school

Visiting and spending time with elderly men and women

JAM Clubs- Jezi Ak Mwe (Jesus and Me) (similar to a vacation bible school) with the local kids in the community, and kids in other communities.

During these we read bible stories, do skits, play games, do crafts and just spend time with the kids!

Visiting an orphanage

Movie nights for the local kids

:Cleaning/Housekeeping:

Cleaning up our ministry site/host home/dorm rooms/surrounding areas

Cleaning out the pool and surrounding areas

Laundry

& whatever other tasks our ministry hosts give to us to do

God has been teaching me many different things through the different types of ministry opportunities that I have been given to do.

One of the biggest things that God has been teaching me so far on the World Race is that ministry can look all kinds of ways.

For instance, last month in the Dominican Republic when he asked me to do certain things for ministry that I am not used to doing- like shoveling dirt, he not only wanted me to learn how to do those things but he also wanted me to grow within the lines of being uncomfortable.

This month in Montrouis Haiti God has been growing me in boldness, stepping out and leading different parts of ministry here. Years ago, I was not one to speak up, be bold, take point and lead things BUT God is doing lots of things in me and my character and within my identity including using my community and the things we are called to do for ministry to grow me in boldness. For instance-  me taking point for a Jam Club on our first day of ministry here in Haiti, or leading a Beauty For Ashes discussion about forgiveness for young women here.

I want to continue on this journey of the world race, I want to allow God to keep putting me in the lines of being uncomfortable, I want to grow in boldness, and I want to continue to do what God has called me to do and further his kingdom!

Is God calling you to  be a part of what he is calling me to do on the World Race?

Do you want to travel and share God’s love and build his kingdom but for some reason you physically can’t?

I would love it if you would join me on this world race journey!

There are several ways you can!

You can join me by:

Praying for me, and my team and squad- for health, safety, and provision for those of us that are still fundraising!

Donating, every dollar helps me to continue to share Gods love with the nations and build his kingdom!

I currently need to raise $2,632  to reach the 3rd fundraising goal by September 30th in order to continue on the race. In total, I need to raise $7,732 to reach the final fundraising goal by November 30th.

Every dollar helps, and remember when you give- remember that you aren’t just giving to me you are giving to spread God’s love to the nations and build his kingdom as he uses me the next 9 months of the World Race!

Thank you and God bless you!
