3 Months aqui en Guatemala! There has been such a mixture of beauty, grief, challenges, joy, laughter, tears, hope, love and so much MORE! There has been many things happening here, there and everywhere!  The enemy has been trying really hard to use the challenges that I have been facing as distractions from the reasons that God has me here in Guatemala. There are some days where admittedly, I have allowed the enemy to stick his his foot in this season of my life and allow my challenges to distract me- and then there also have also been days where I have been able to rise above the tactics of the enemy and focus on my faith and the beautiful gifts that the father continues to shower me with in this season on Guatemala!

       To be completely honest, since I have been here in Guatemala it seems like each time God moves- the enemy tries to catch up with him- and sometimes its vice versa. For instance, before I came to Guatemala 3 months ago- a handful of hard things happened at one time and just about exactly a month before I got on the plane to move here! Well in this case, the enemy moved first and then God caught up to him after I got here! The ways that God showed up after I landed here in Guatemala were pretty crazy, and the ways he is continuing to show up are pretty wonderful too!

      You might be wondering how I am keeping my faith up in the midst of challenges and battling the tactics of the enemy. Well God continues to place amazing people on my path here in Guatemala! From the staff, my teammates, gap year racers and other people that I am meeting in various places that I go and these people all carry such beautiful characters of Christ! God sure does know what he is doing and he certainly knew what he was doing when he led me here to Guatemala for a time such as this! People are such gifts from the Lord! I have been learning so much from the different people that are a part of my community here as well as the situations I have been facing here and time and time again, God continues to place the exact people on my path that I need at the time that I need it. 

I now I already mentioned it once but I will mention it over and over again without hesitation because it holds so much truth! :

Some things that God is Stretching me and Growing me in this season:

~Confidence in speaking spanish

  Confidence in sharing whats on my mind+heart, and allowing myself to be more vulnerable and open+honest with how I am feeling.

~God is teaching me how to navigate my mental health and he is giving me more tools to use on the days that are harder.

~God is teaching me how to see more clearly the beauty within the challenges that I face.

~God is strengthening my belief and faith in the fact that he is taking care of my family + the things I cant control as well as the things I cant yet see.
