I can’t believe that its month 2 of the world race!

Time has been flying!

God continues to move and groove in, thru and around me here in Haiti!

This month my team 1010 Fierce is with team Decided and we are doing ministry at a place in Montrouis Haiti called Supply and Multiply. This ministry does a lot of different things within the community here! So far for ministry we have done Beauty for ashes (women’s ministry), Childrens ministry-Jam Clubs-which is similar to a vacation bible school, Childrens ministry in other areas of Haiti, Evangelism, hanging out with the elderly people, visiting orphanages, cleaning up the community/manual labor and more!

On the first day of ministry here, we did Jam Club and I was able to stretch myself and take charge and help plan what we did! Lots of kids from the local community here in Montrous came and I read a story to them about prayer! We also did a skit about how our actions can be contagious to others. Then the kids colored and we played with them and danced to music! It was such a special first day of ministry here in Haiti!

God has been doing many things so far here in Haiti!

One thing in particular that God has been moving in is in my relationship with my dad!

Last month a few days into month one of the DR, God reminded me as I was watching the sun setting in the sky during a time of worship that we were having – that my dad loves me!

As of recently- since the communication between my dad and I has seemed to be few and far between, I have doubted a bit the status of my relationship with him being good or not.

I have had some very challenging days on the race with my emotions regarding my relationship with my dad and I~ I have also had some very good days where God has been speaking to me and reminding me of my worth thru my challenges- including this one.

There was a chance during month one for anyone that wanted to do an inner healing session to do one with the leaders. I definitely wanted to, but when I checked the sign up sheet there was no more open space for me to sign up. I was bummed but I was told that I could do an inner healing this month in month 2 if a leader was with us.

We didn’t have a leader with us but we did have a woman named Teresa with us who has been a squad leader and a squad mentor before. She is an evangelist and she came with us to help guide us in evangelism and she was primarily with team Decided.

However, I asked her last week if she would be open to doing an inner healing session with me, and she said she would!

The inner healing session was something very new for me! I asked my sweet friend, squad mate and sister in christ Alexa to intercede for me during the session. It was a time that went very deep into my past, where I was encouraged to remember things that were very difficult in my past. Remembering certain things and memories was very hard but it also helped me in the process of healing!

God spoke to me in many ways during the time of the inner healing session, and he reminded me of my true identity and the opposites of the lies that I have been believing about myself since I was a child.

I am still processing the inner healing session but I can definitely say that God is in the business of healing and restoring and the inner healing session was a step in the right direction for me!
