Hey Everyone! I am so excited to be writing this letter to you.

Cimone has been an incredibly strong woman to have on my team. She’s been the inspiration to support raising and an example of complete trust and faith in God.

Throughout the last 5 months, I’ve had the privilege to get to know her and her heart for God.

For example, she loves all things children. She’s always the first to step in when ministering in that area. She knows all the good songs to sing and actions for the children to learn and be apart of. And she never backs down when is asked to lead a story! She picks up where we lack and steps back to let others have a turn to grow in that area.

I always have a person to play cards with and just laugh at random stuff with. And honestly if it weren’t for all of you back at home supporting her, I would have never been able to get to know the Cimone I know today.

Ephesians 4:2

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

Cimone has shown me so much humility and gentleness on this World Race adventure, and I think the rest of my teammates can agree. She’s patient and always showing love to us and the people she meets. She’s a joy for bringing the word of God to people.

Way back at training camp I had the privilege to evangelize with her around a neighborhood. We were both really nervous, but I ended up breaking out in tears because of the nerves. She was there to bring it all back to the Lord and pray over me. She was my rock in that time of unknowing. And even on the race I had the chance to evangelize in Haiti and Botswana with her. She’s shown me so many characteristics of Christ that I lack or didn’t know that I’ve had.

Even now in the midst of her fighting to fundraise to stay on the race, she continues to chose love. Please help keep her here with us, my squad really needs someone like her on this race. She may be the oldest but she has the youngest and strongest heart.

Anyways, thank you for allowing me to get to know Cimone, I truly couldn’t thank you all enough.

Love,

Her teammate ... Laiken
